To further the implementation of the first pillar of the EASSR which highlighted capacity building for competition policy enforcers in the context of the rise of technology and digital economy, the report presents summary and findings derived from CPLG policy dialogue titled Competition Policy and Digital Transformation and the supplementary survey on the same subject. It itemizes the challenges faced by competition authorities in APEC on competition issues in the digital markets and presents recommendations to help members navigate said challenges.
