This guide is intended to help economies find the necessary inputs (technical, economic, and social) to replicate and/or improve projects that promote the reuse of biological waste from artisanal fishing in the coastal communities of APEC member economies. This initiative allows and encourages the creation of new business units that can improve their income and quality of life, providing opportunities for the incorporation of women and young people in the production chain, and in strengthening their skills such as collaborative work.
