The “APEC Symposium and Workshop on Technology Roadmaps to Promote Industry 4.0 in Developing APEC Economies” looks to accelerate the Industry 4.0 in APEC economies through initiatives generated by decision makers, as a result of shared experiences and application of the Technological Roadmap methodology.
The three main objectives of the Symposium looks to: (1) Train officials from APEC economies on Industry 4.0 and Technology Roadmaps., (2) Collect the experiences of the APEC economies that have applied the Technology Roadmaps (HRT) to the promotion of Industry 4.0 with emphasis on the development of SMEs, and (3) Identify lessons learned and write them into a policy recommendation document for APEC economies.
