The 62nd Meeting of the APEC Expert Group on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EGEEC 62)

The 62nd Meeting of the APEC Expert Group on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EGEEC 62) and associated workshops will be hosted by China in Nanjing, China on 20-23 May 2024. This will be a joint meeting with APEC Expert Group on Clean Fossil Energy (EGCFE). The theme of the meeting is "From the supply side to demand side, utilisation of clean energy and energy efficiency in realising energy transition". The meeting will bring together APEC member economies and international organisations to exchange policies, rules, planning, and investments to boost energy efficiency and utilisation of clean energy actions towards the APEC aspirational target of reducing aggregate energy intensity by 45 percent from 2005 levels by 2035.
