The APEC conference on "Empowering the Next Generation: Investment in Preventable Infant Deaths by a Healthy Start" was organized by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Chinese Taipei. This conference took place in Chinese Taipei on 7 March 2024 (GMT+8). The event engaged 18 experts and attracted more than 200 people from 11 APEC economies, including Canada; Chile; Japan; Malaysia; Mexico; the Philippines; Russia; Singapore; Chinese Taipei; Thailand; and the United States to participate and discuss the successful practices and strategies to prevent infant diseases.
The conference manual provides the summaries of key presentations, and results of the surveys, conclusions and lessons learned, key findings, recommendations, and successful experiences shared by economies.
