While the food security issue is becoming more critical due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the APEC Food Security Roadmap Towards 2030 was adopted which will serve as the goal of the APEC region’s long-term food security and nutrition.

This report summarizes the outcomes of the webinar conducted to share member economies’ perspectives and best practices regarding the second action target in the Roadmap led by Korea. It aims to contribute to the discussions on the implementation plan for faithful execution of the Roadmap through prior surveys and analysis. The paper focuses on expanding the understanding of different agri-food systems of member economies and identifying the most available policy schemes on this action target which each APEC member economies could deliver.
