This report presents consolidated information related to the project, Efficient and Sustainable Use of Water for Agriculture Under New Climatic Scenarios as a Contribution to Food Security. It includes a preliminary report that presents reviews of experiences in the efficient use of water for agriculture in APEC economies. The cases presented correspond to a selection of the best projects to improve the efficient use of water and energy for agriculture, in accordance with the criteria established by Chile's National Commissión of Irrigation (CNR). It also provides the presentations during the workshop and field visits. Based on these activities, a brochure was prepared to summarise the cases that meet the criteria related to innovative merit, the potential for replication of innovative or successful experiences, among others, in the efficient use of water and energy resources in agriculture.
