Issues Paper No. 10
This issues paper provides a brief synthesis of what is known in the research literature, by examining the theoretical and empirical relationships between SMEs, competition law and economic growth. It begins with a discussion of the nature and role of SMEs in the APEC region. This is then followed by an examination of the role of SMEs in economic growth, and whether competition law has an effect on the SME role in economic growth.
