Description
This report provides a summary of the APEC project, “Laboratory Capacity Building for the
Determination of Toxic Contaminants in Seafood”. Its aim was to develop and strengthen the laboratory capacity of food inspection laboratories within APEC economies to measure toxic and essential elements like arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), iron (Fe), and zinc (Zn) in seafood for domestic consumption and for export purposes.
