Deployment of the small-scale standalone power system with renewable energy and appropriate financial mechanism can assist the farmers and their family in APEC’s developing economies in accessing modern and clean energy.

 

This report is an output of the APEC project, “Best Practices for Developing the Green Energy Smart Farm in the APEC Region,” which highlights the recommendations and roadmap to develop the green energy smart farm with small-scale standalone distributed renewable energy system and financial mechanism in the APEC region. The outcomes of two related workshops and a guidebook are also included in this report.
