Chair’s Statement on 2025 APEC Finance Ministerial Meeting
Incheon, Republic of Korea, 21 October 2025

In light of the complex geopolitical environment, some delegations expressed their views on the situations in Ukraine and in Gaza, including recent developments. Other members acknowledged that APEC is not a forum to resolve geopolitical and security issues.

The Chair restated the need to uphold APEC as an effective cooperation platform, based on consensus as its most important tool.
