PPFS Webinar on Digitalisation and Innovation in the food supply chain

The Food Security Roadmap Towards 2030 was adopted in August this year, and one of the Key Action Areas of it is “Digitalisation and Innovation”. This area is essential to achieve each of the other areas; productivity, inclusivity and sustainability, so promoting this area is very important. At the PPFS Webinar on Digitalisation and Innovation in the food supply chain in the APEC region, held on December 9 2021, hosted by MAFF Japan, speakers made presentations about good practices or situations on innovation in the food supply chain, and helped participants of member economies to upgrade their food system in a sustainable manner. In this way, this webinar promotes implementation of the roadmap, and aims to bridge the Roadmap 2030 in the New Zealand year to the implementation plan in the Thailand year.
