The Enhanced APEC Agenda for Structural Reform (EAASR) reaffirms APEC’s enduring commitment to advancing structural reform as a driver of economic resilience, efficiency, and long-term growth. It also represents the Economic Committee’s concrete, medium-term contribution toward realizing the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 and the Aotearoa Plan of Action. This Final Review is not merely a retrospective assessment — it also serves as a forward-looking tool to inform reflection, learning, and planning as economies navigate an increasingly complex and fast-evolving global environment. While APEC has achieved notable progress under the EAASR, remaining gaps underscore the need for deeper cooperation and more transformative reform efforts. As members prepare to launch the next phase of APEC’s structural reform agenda, the insights from this review can help inform the design and effective implementation of future reforms.
