This report summarizes the APEC Investment Experts’ Group (IEG) workshop held on 24 February 2025. The workshop aimed to identify key factors that enable long-term FDI success in APEC economies and featured presentations from several companies based in the region. Discussions focused on investment continuity, business operation resilience, local stakeholder engagement, and workforce development. The report highlights best practices and policy insights to support APEC's efforts to create a more enabling investment environment across the region. Key recommendations include enhancing regulatory clarity, business confidence, and investment resilience through collaboration between governments and the private sector.
