APEC ensures that goods, services, investment and people move easily across borders. Members facilitate this trade through faster customs procedures at borders; more favorable business climates behind the border; and aligning regulations and standards across the region.

This publication is the Final Report of the project of Capacity Building Workshop on Testing Methods for Internet of Things (IoT) Products (SCSC 05 2021A). The main objective of the project is to enhance the capacity of the testing methods for Internet of Things (IoT) products of APEC participants, in which IoT products are still in quite an early stage. The outputs of the project include 3 Seminars, Workshop and Training, and a Round Robin Test. The key points are that 20 APEC participants in the Round Robin Test provide comparable results of measurement in IoT products. The outcomes of the project are that APEC participants in Workshop and Training increase their knowledge, and 20 APEC participants in Round Robin Test know their capabilities in IoT testing compared to each other.
