This report gathers and analyzes information provided by APEC economies on nature and adventure tourism in their respective areas. The main objective is to assess the potential of nature and adventure tourism in APEC economies and provide valuable information to strengthen the sector's development. Sharing experiences and best practices between economies can help achieve this goal.
The report is intended for officials and decision-makers of APEC economies, as well as relevant actors in the tourism sector. The process involved coordinating with APEC economies to collect official information on nature and adventure tourism through a virtual form, organizing and analyzing the data, and identifying main trends, regulations, destinations, and product development.
