The objective of the publication is to provide APEC economies with guidelines, recommendations and successful experiences regarding the design and implementation of public policies on the use of IP collective tools in disaster situations (such as natural disasters, economic crises, wars or pandemics), in order to contribute to the economic reactivation and the recovery of vulnerable populations and MSMEs.

The publication will also include information on how actors from both the public and private sectors can collaborate in the development and sustainability of the use of IP collective tools.
