This report summarizes the discussion and presentations from the workshop, New-Normal Model of Trade Promotion in the Post Pandemic Era, held on 3 March 2022 with the objective of introducing best practices for the use of digital technologies to enhance trade promotion. The workshop covered three main topics: (1) Sharing best practices and identify the specific success factors and challenges in the utilizing digital technologies, especially in the field of business exhibitions and business meetings in the APEC region; (2) Exploring the role of governments in digitalizing trade promotion, as well as challenges, opportunities, and success factors they face in these efforts; and (3) Providing policy recommendations for officials for enhancing trade promotion by utilizing digital technologies.
