Description
The APEC Capacity Building on Restructuring Women led MSMEs in Textile and Garment Industry in the New Era project aims to support women-led SMEs in restructuring as well as upgrading with relevant knowledge, expertise, and skills to adapt and harness the opportunities that the digital era brings about.
This report summarizes the outcomes of a two-day workshop held in January 2022. The workshop discussed opportunities and challenges that women face in the textile industry including experiences and best practices in restructuring women-led SMEs as well as enhancing women-led MSMEs’ capability and competitiveness in the digital environment.
