This case study is one of the five prepared for the 2016 APEC Economic Policy Report, which had a theme on structural reform and services. It assesses the impact of air transport deregulation in Indonesia, and examines the implications of the key reforms in the air transport sector for other industry sectors. The study concludes with a discussion of new issues relevant to the sector, lessons learned and some policy recommendations related to structural reforms in air transport.
