Description

This study, “Supporting Continued Growth in Trade and Facilitation: End to End Review of the APEC Business Travel Card Scheme”, was commissioned by the APEC Secretariat under the guidance of the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection to analyze the current state of the ABTC scheme and identify areas for enhancing the efficiency of its processes to help ensure continued card adoption growth and client satisfaction.

This report lays out the findings of this study, based on data and feedback gathered by the research team through interviews with a variety of administrative body and industry stakeholders in 11 economies, a survey of stakeholders across all 21 economies, APEC Business Mobility Group (BMG) discussions at the 2014 SOM 3 meeting, and a review of relevant documents produced by APEC and the BMG member economies.
