This document reports on the activities of the Symposium and Workshop on Technology Roadmaps to Promote Industry 4.0 in Developing APEC Economies and comprises two main sections:
The first one, policy recommendation paper, analyses the speakers’ presentations, the panellists’ discussions, and the reactions of the public to draw conclusions about the public policies that APEC economies may implement to foster SME adoption of I4.0 (Industry 4.0) technologies and the role of roadmapping in this process.
The second one, workshops results, analyses the workshops outcome to draw conclusions on how roadmapping can be used for the purpose of fostering I4.0 technology adoption in SME in APEC economies.
