This report presents the outcomes of the Symposium on Supporting the WTO Negotiations on Trade-related Aspects of E-commerce held virtually in February and March 2021. The symposium was conducted to seek exploratory and introductory efforts by stakeholders and to deepen technical discussions and enhance understandings on issues, so as to a) contribute positively and actively to the WTO e-commerce negotiations and b) further expand discussions and identify opportunities and challenges faced by APEC members for the facilitation of each economy’s further consideration on e-commerce negotiations in Geneva.
