This report provides a summary of discussion from a two-day public-private dialogue on understanding non-tariff measures (NTMs) on agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors. The dialogue focused on three main points: (1) overview of NTMs and unwarranted NTMs challenges on agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors in the APEC region; (2) discussion on proper NTMs and best practices for policymakers on the eventual realization of the FTAAP; and (3) improvement in market access through a better understanding of NTMs on these sectors.
