This report summarises the outcomes of the workshop, Capacity Building on Global Marine Debris Monitoring and Modeling: Supports
Protection of the Marine Environment, held in Indonesia. It highlights discussion on marine debris monitoring through ocean modeling, integrated with marine debris tagging, as well as marine debris sources, trajectory simulation and impact to coastal area and marine ecosystem.
