This report provides an overview and summary of the APEC Capacity Building Workshop on FTA Negotiation Skills on Intellectual Property (Phase 2) held between 29-30 November 2016 in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. The workshop sought to provide in-depth capacity building for negotiators and policymakers to participate in intellectual property negotiations. It aimed to share best practices and experiences in preparing for negotiations, as well as explore possible implications on trade and intellectual property situation of economies engaged in FTA/FTAAP.
