This Best Practice Guide can assist regulators in developing a favourable environment for doing business. The guide synthesises the knowledge gained from the APEC Private Sector Development -Ease of Doing Business series of workshops held from 2007-2010. Each workshop focused on a different regulatory theme. These themes were based on the Ease of Doing Business indicators from the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation’s annual Doing Business report.
