SPSG's scope of work includes:
- Promoting security, trust and confidence in networks/ infrastructure/ services /technologies / applications / e-commerce;
- Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) and Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs);
- Spam / Spyware;
- Cybercrime prevention;
- Human resource development and capacity building on combating cybercrime and implementing effective cyber security awareness initiatives ; and
- Business facilitation through discussions with the private sector on promoting security, trust and confidence in the use of ICT for business and trade.
