APEC Finance Ministers Announce Joint Statement
Finance Ministers from the 21 APEC member economies announced a joint statement at the conclusion of their meeting, outlining their commitment to policy efforts that help APEC members and the global economy achieve strong, balanced, secure, sustainable and inclusive growth.
The statement reflects the outcomes of the 2023 APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting chaired by United States Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen. It describes shared support for action by APEC economies in the following areas:
- Strengthening global growth
- Modern supply side economics
- Sustainable finance
- Digital assets
