The Basic Search text box is located on the Top Navigation Bar. To use
this, just type in one or more words that best describe the information that
you're looking for and click Go.
Use specific words to describe what you're looking for. General terms will
give a larger number of results, so try to narrow your search.
Automatic "AND"
When you use Basic Search, by default it looks for pages/documents which
have ALL the words you keyed in. For example, if you typed trade
facilitation, the results will contain the words trade
and facilitation.
Using OR
If you're equally interested in two or more alternatives, use OR in
capital letters. For example, agricultural OR ATC OR ATCWG.
Exact Phrase
To search for an exact phrase, just put quotation marks around two or
more words. For example, search "trade facilitation" (type the quotation marks
into the text box).
Word Variations
Use * at the of a term if you want to search for variations of the
term. For example, when you type in recommend*, pages containing
any of these words recommend, recommended, recommendation,
recommendations will be retrieved.
Case Sensitivity
If you type in terms in lower case, the search will treat it as NO
case-sensitivity. However, if you submit words with any Upper case characters,
the search will treat that Upper case character with case-sensitivity. For
example, if you type in Recommend, the search will retrieve
pages with Recommend but NOT recommend.
Advanced Search
Advanced Search provides you with numerous options to make your search
more accurate or specific. You can use features described for the Basic Search
for the Advanced Search (note "Using OR" can only be used for "any of these words")

words" text box, the search will retrieve pages/documents with ANY

This is another way to narrow or limit your search to a particular period or
time-frame.
Results per page
This section allows you to indicate how many results you would like to be
displayed in a single page. You can move through the results' pages by
clicking on >>.
Search within these results
If your search retrieves too many results, you can narrow your search by
searching within the results of your original search. For example, if you type
in trade facilitation and the search retrieves 450 hits, you can
further narrow the search by searching within the 450 hits by typing in
additional terms like action plan.
Discard these results and search based on new restrictions
This feature allows you to retain your original search terms and to specify
new criteria to restrict your search.
