The Economic Impact of Travel and Tourism Development in the APEC Region, 1998 The Report was undertaken by the APEC Tourism Working Group and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). The WTTC is a global coalition of Chief Executive Officers from all sectors of the travel and tourism industry including accommodation, catering, entertainment, recreation, transportation, and travel-related services. This Report is intended to provide the foundation for increased awareness and understanding of the significance of travel and tourism?s contribution to the economy of the APEC region.
