1. WTO TBT and SPS Committees

Under the WTO Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement) and the WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT Agreement), WTO members are required to establish a national enquiry point. The national enquiry point acts as a focal point where other WTO Members can request and obtain information and documentation on a Member's technical regulations, standards and test procedures, whether impending or adopted, as well as on participation in bilateral or plurilateral standard-related agreements, regional standardizing bodies and conformity assessment systems. The lists of the national enquiry points can be found in the following links

2. WTO Notifications

The WTO SPS and TBT Agreements also establish an obligation for WTO members to notify, under certain conditions, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures to the WTO Secretariat prior to their formal adoption and allow other Members to make comments. These notifications can be accessed and searched using the "Search for Documents" function on the WTO website at WTO Documents Online
